So Damn Happy but ...

Dear Debbie,

So Damn Happy but
I'm not sure if it's because I'm so damn happy these days and friends want what I've been smokin' Happy or if I've just noticed that i have a lot of miserable/negative people in my life.

I've always been that guy that friends go to for advice but, lately, seems like a lot of them are just plain negative. i don't want to be insensitive, but I'd rather surround myself with people who more positive than not.

Anyway, my question is, any suggestions on how to get these downers to snap out of it until your book comes out. Happy other books, people to talk to, etc?

Dear Chad,

I bet everyone wants what you’re smokin’! Congratulations on creating so much happiness in your life.
Here’s my kick-ass advice.

#1. It’s okay to surround yourself with positive people. Do exactly that. The more positive energy in your life, the better you’ll feel. When you’re happy you are making a positive contribution to the world.

#2. Remember you are not responsible for other people’s unhappiness. So take yourself off the hook for helping your buddies “snap out of it” before my book comes out. Thanks for the plug. You’re a sweetheart. Move forward with your life. Period. This is a test. I know you will pass the exam.

#3. You’re a generous person. Gift your friends a best-selling book called: You Can’t Afford The Luxury Of A Negative Thought by John-Roger. It’s designed to speak to people stuck in a negative thinking loop.

It is not uncommon when we break through to a new level of consciousness that certain friends fall by the wayside. Love them exactly where they are. Which doesn’t mean you have to spend time with them.
