Nothing to Say….

Blogs. Even the sound of the word is funny. Say
it out loud. Blogs.
By definition, blogs are an online personal journal with reflections and comments. If you blog (verb), you are a blogger (noun) who is adept at blogging (verb).
It is another one of those wonderful words. Blog, blogger, blogging, blogged.
For me, this is a personal statement, blogs are a challenge. To blog means, as a writer, to change ones perspective from the third person “To visit Santa Fe is an exciting prospect.” To the first person “I visited Santa Fe and it was very exciting.”
Something I was taught never, ever to do. So now, I get to change. I get to think of a new way of communicating because Donne Tempo should have blogs because…well they are a way to communicate.
Like Internet postcards.
And Donne Tempo will offer new ways to “live, learn and love.” At least that’s what my business card says. So now I learn to blog. “Live, learn, and love and blog.”
But I find I have nothing to say. Except, I am not sure if I can blog. Be a blogger. Or find my blogging voice.
Blog, it’s a funny word. What do you think? I guess I have now blogged.
